Justin F. Kobeski is Of Counsel at Bennett Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC and a member of its insurance coverage team. He works in the firm’s Blue Bell, Pennsylvania office.
Justin was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and attended Bloomsburg University, receiving his B.A. in history in 2002. While in school, Justin was a member of ACACIA International Fraternity. He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2005, where he was President of the St. Thomas Moore Society.
His early legal career was spent with the District Attorney’s Office in York County, Pennsylvania where he attained the title of Senior Deputy Prosecutor and supervised the Major Crimes Unit. In this role, Justin prosecuted countless criminal felony cases including homicide, arson, aggravated assault, robbery and drug offenses, among numerous others. While in this office, he has done a significant amount of jury trials and appeared in court daily.
Justin then moved to the Philadelphia area. He represented mortgage lenders and servicers in various contested foreclosure proceedings and mediations throughout Pennsylvania for two high-volume creditors’ rights Philadelphia firms. Here, Justin has participated in bench trials and a variety of hearings.
Justin lives in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys spending his time gardening, playing with their dog and being active. He is also an avid sports fan.
