Kimberly attended Seton Hall Law School, earning her juris doctorate in 2001. After serving as law clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Villanueva, J.A.D. (reassigned on recall) who oversaw a docket of complex insurance fraud cases throughout New Jersey, Kimberly’s passion for advocating on behalf of defendants and insurance companies blossomed.
After 20+ years of practicing law, Kimberly McDougal joined the Livingston office of Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg in 2025. She focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation, from premises liability to catastrophic motor vehicle accidents, as well as PIP subrogation and UM/UIM claims. Kimberly possesses strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills and assists her clients from claims evaluation through discovery and trial at the state, federal and appellate levels. Kimberly is admitted to practice in New Jersey, and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
In her free time, Kimberly is active in her community of Roxbury, NJ, and enjoys boating on Lake Hopatcong, listening to true crime podcasts, cooking, and spending time with her husband, teenage children and labradoodles.
