Yolanda Konopacka DeSipio is a member of Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC and the managing partner of the firm’s Blue Bell, PA office. She was born in Poland and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her B.S. degree from LaSalle University in 1987 and her Juris Doctor from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 1991. While attending the Temple University’s Beasley School of Law’s evening program, Yolanda worked in the legal field and interned for the Honorable I. Raymond Kremer of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Yolanda is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Philadelphia and Bucks County Bar Associations and the Jagellonian Law Society. Over the years, she has participated in jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations involving insurance bad faith, product liability and personal injury.
Yolanda joined Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC in 2007. As a member of the firm’s insurance coverage and bad faith team, Yolanda defends insurer bad faith claims. She has tried such cases in the federal courts (Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania) and state courts. In addition, she heads the immigration section at the firm handling cases for individuals and companies involving visa extensions, deportation, change of status to permanent residence and naturalization. Yolanda has presented seminars on bad faith, homeowners insurance, and immigration law and has participated in legal clinics and radio program presentations on various legal topics. Speaking Polish fluently, she is very involved in the Polish/American community and has an office located in Port Richmond to provide legal services.
Outside the office, Yolanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, as well as gardening and cooking.
