William Hofmann is a member with Bennett, Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC, in our Blue Bell office. Bill represents the firm’s clients in a wide range of insurance coverage, commercial defense and bad faith matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Bill was a member with a commercial litigation and insurance coverage firm in Princeton, New Jersey. He represented commercial defendants in an array of environmental liability, business contract dispute, medical malpractice and products liability actions. In addition, Bill represented property and casualty insurers and reinsurers in complex insurance coverage and extra-contractual liability actions.
Originally from Lancaster County, Bill received his undergraduate degree in 2001 from Lafayette College and his Juris Doctor from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Bill served as Executive Editor of the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Bill is the published author of the article, The EHB: DEP’s Friend or Foe? 15 VILL. ENVTL. L.J. 173 (2004). Upon graduation from law school, Bill clerked in New Jersey’s Appellate Division for the Hon. William P. Gilroy, J.A.D.
Bill is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and for the District of New Jersey. He is also admitted to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time with this family and friends, swimming and rooting for Philadelphia’s sports teams. Bill, his wife, his son and daughter reside in West Chester.
